I went to Steve for help to prepare for the GRE.  I needed to review all of the material on the test, and Steve was a huge help.  Not only for the Mathematics portion, but he was able to help me with the writing and verbal reasoning portions as well.   Steve answered every question I had, and explain things in a way that was easy to understand and easy to remember.  But also, Steve taught me how to take the test.  He showed me techniques for getting a better score.  I very highly recommend him to anyone who wants to do better in their classes, or improve their scores on tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.

Dr. Steve Wiener has been a huge help in academics. He is very easy to work with, due to his relaxed personality and his straight-forward approach. These qualities add to his professionalism and make him truly one of a kind. His personality alone makes studying with him that much easier, but he also is very knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about Stephen Wiener’s extraordinary ability to teach even the most mathematically challenged student! After many years in the workforce, I found myself having to change careers, which meant going back to college. I needed to take Elementary and Advanced Algebra, as well as Statistics. Math has never been my strength. and I knew I needed a lot of help. I had no luck with the tutoring services offered at the college, but I was very fortunate to have found Steve.

I sought out Steve to work with my middle schooler as I realized my son had a huge curiosity about science and how the world works, and the school curriculum and watching YouTube videos just weren’t meeting his needs. My son’s sessions with Steve were everything we were looking for and more. Their free-ranging explorations and hands-on experimentation were driven by my son’s interests without boundaries. Long-languishing science and computer kits got opened and assembled, and I knew that as he got his hands dirty, my son was also getting cogent, comprehensive explanations of the processes and forces at work.
